About Southern Images is locally owned and operated by myself, Kristen Allison of Knoxville, TN. I picked up the skills of photography from two generations of photographers, my Father and Grandfather, who took photos as a hobby more than as a business. That is also how I got started... I am a mother of two magnificent children and two wonderful step-children that I love to photograph...so I bought a very advanced camera to do their sports pictures with. That started it all! I became obsessed with photography! I then began taking pictures of my husband riding at Deals Gap. And now, I am the official photographer of those "Down right knee draggin', curve huggin', rubber burnin', dragon slayin', photos". As my Father and Grandfather before me, I take pride in my pictures and will always do my best to please the customer with quality photographs.
